Tesla with special guests KIX comes to Hard Rock Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. Throughout the course of their 30-plus-year career, the iconic Sacramento melodic hard rock quintet, Tesla, has sold more than 25 million albums and performed to sold out crowds across the world. In 2016 Tesla released “Mechanical Resonance Live!,” featuring the track “Save That Goodness.” In 2014 the group released the album “Simplicity,” which reached No.14 on the Billboard Top 200.
Tesla will perform radio hits and a stripped-down acoustic set from “5 Man Acoustic Jam,” the band’s best-selling album that started the unplugged trend of the 1990s. In addition to celebrating their catalogue with songs from “Forevermore” and “Psychotic Supper,” Tesla will also perform new music from there forthcoming album, “Shock.”
Tesla features Frank Hannon (guitar), Brian Wheat (bass), Jeff Keith (lead vocals), Troy Luccketta (drums) and Dave Rude (guitar).
In 2014, KIX released “Rock Your Face Off” – their first album in two decades and seventh album overall, which was produced by Taylor Rhodes (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne). The album debuted at No. 48 on the Billboard Top 200 and also debuted at No. 1 on Amazon’s Hard Rock and Metal chart. Earlier this year, KIX celebrated the release of “Fuse 30 Reblown (Blow My Fuse 30th Anniversary Special Edition)” with remixed and remastered tracks of their hit album.
