Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Seminole Casino Coconut Creek are teaming up with Swank Farms for the highly anticipated 2016-2017 Farm-to-Table Dinner series Swank Table. The series kicks off Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 4 p.m. with Big Flavors, Open Skies: A Night with Seminole Hard Rock and Coconut Creek.
Bringing together the culinary talents from both properties, guests will delight in a five-course pairing dinner. The evening kicks off with a welcome reception complete with passed hors d’ oeuvres. The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood team consists of Kuro Japanese restaurants’ esteemed Executive Chef Alex Q. Becker, recently named “Best Chef in Broward County” by the New Times and Pastry Chef Ross Evans; Council Oak Steaks & Seafood Executive Chef Brian Doyle and Sommelier Juan Horta; and the resort’s Banquet Chef Giovanni Genao and Executive Sous Chef David Ray Roach. Making up the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek team are NYY Steak restaurant’s Executive Chef Matt Zappoli, Butcher Shop Manager Walter Apfelbaum and General Manager; Noel Morreale; and casino Banquet Chef Jarrod Campbell and Banquet Manager James Manuel. NYY was voted “Best North Broward Restaurant” in SouthFlorida.com’s 2015 Best of South Florida.
Full menu with pairings to be announced at a later date. Tickets for the event are $160 per person, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting FLIPANY, a charity dedicated to empowering youth and their families through physical activity and nutrition, raising awareness and creating policies for a healthier community.
This season, Swank Farms will host nine al fresco dinners in their lush fields with local and nationally renowned chefs offering their culinary talent, paired with farmers, artisanal producers, micro-brewers, distillers and organic winemakers to produce multi-course meals of the highest caliber. Swank Farms will donate a portion of the proceeds from each dinner to local charities.
Other notable participants for the 2016-2017 Swank Table series will include Adrienne Grenier of 3030 Ocean at the Harbor Beach Marriott; Michael Bloise of OCEAN2000 at Fort Lauderdale’s Pelican Beach Resort; Brian Rojas of Fooq’s; and Top Chef Winner Jeremy Ford of The Matador Room, among others.
