Council Oak Steaks & Seafood Restaurant at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to Open for Lunch on Fridays Beginning September 5 from noon – 3 p.m.

New Lunch Menu Features Contemporary Gourmet Selections and Signature Favorites 

Hollywood, Fla. (August 11, 2014) Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at the AAA Four Diamond-awarded Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has extended its fine dining experience to offer lunch on Fridays beginning September 5 from noon – 3 p.m.

The restaurant’s new weekday lunch offering provides both the guests of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and the greater business community a sophisticated dining option. Patrons can expect Council Oak’s consistent quality and epicurean experience. Led by Executive Chef Louis Marandola, the esteemed culinary team developed the lunch menu with the resort’s diverse clientele in mind – from corporate executives to business travelers, international tourists to discerning locals – with most dishes priced in the $12 – $26 range.

Lunch sandwich creations are served with house-made fries and include Council Oak originals such as the Maine Lobster Griddle with Havarti cheese, grilled potato bread and tomato bisque ($22); Beef Tenderloin with caramelized onions and arugula on toasted ciabatta with bleu cheese and horseradish ($20); and the Council Oak Dry Aged Burger served with lettuce, tomato, brioche, bone marrow mayonnaise and a side of house made fries ($18). A variety of burger enhancements are available ($3 ea.) including Applewood smoked bacon, quail egg, caramelized onions, wild mushrooms, Maytag bleu cheese, aged Vermont cheddar and seared foie gras ($18). New to the sandwich menu is the Slider Trio composed of one lamb slider layered with cucumber, feta, lettuce, tomato and harissa mayo, one veal slider coated with mushroom shallot marmalade, arugula and garlic aioli, and one beef slider with lettuce, tomato, house-made pickles and bone marrow mayo ($18).

Raw bar options include Snapper Crudo fused with jalapeño, cilantro, Gooseberry oil and taro chips ($14); Sea Bass Ceviche laced with red onion, celery, cilantro, garlic, toasted corn crumble and lime ($14); and an assortedRaw Bar Sampler with chilled Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, jumbo shrimp, oysters and clams meant to share ($56).

Lighter fare salad offerings include a Steak House Salad ($18); Classic Chicken Caesar ($15); Heirloom Burratawith locally grown heirloom tomatoes, fresh crispy basil with drizzled white balsamic reduction ($15); Crispy Goat Cheese over a bed of arugula, frisee, hearts of palm, candied pistachio crumble and pomegranate vinaigrette($16); and Roasted Beet with feta cheese, grilled watermelon and strawberry-ginger vinaigrette ($15).

Guests can fulfill their carnivorous cravings with Council Oak’s prime beef and the freshest line-caught seafood from local waters. These lunch offerings include Filet Mignon (6 oz. $30 / 8 oz. $40); Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass($26); Fish & Chips ($24) and Chicken & Waffles prepared with a truffle infused waffle and topped with caramel gastrique ($24).

Additions and accompaniments ($6 ea.) include Truffle Fries, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Marble Potatoes, an Onion Ring Stack and Cream Corn, among others.
